Hall Hire
All three of our churches have hall space which is available for hire when not being used by us. Current regular users include the Scout and Guide movements, St John's Ambulance, a local Adult Choir, Martial Arts Training, Ball-room Dancing, Portsmouth College (tapestry and fabric-based art), a Writer's Club, a Poetry Society, a Pre-School Playgroup, Children's Dancing School, Slimming Groups, Zumba and evening AA meetings.
All three churches have halls with basic catering facilities attached.
In addition, St Mark's has a disabled-friendly toilet, and parking for up to 18 cars.
St Nicholas has disabled-friendly toilets accessible to all hall and Church visitors, and parking for around 15 cars.
St Francis has a disabled friendly toilet accessible to all.
All three churches are also very happy to let-out their worship spaces as a venue for concerts and other suitable activities (including community-based organisations). St Mark's, in particular, has a reputation as a great concert venue. It also has a Grade 1 listed Hill, Norman & Beard pipe-organ which adds considerably to any choral or orchestral ensemble.
