St Francis Church is there for those special occasions on life’s journey too: Christenings, Weddings (including Renewal of Vows or Re-Marriage) and Funerals. If you've never been inside why not come and have a look - you might be surprised. Please don’t hesitate to contact the Parish Office (023 9266 5753) if we can help in any way.
We would love you to come and share in our worship, and are sure you will feel very welcome if you do!
Our worship is generally traditional in style, with a mixture of hymns and songs (often led by our acoustic Band). Worship is usually centred around the Eucharist (also known as the Lord's Supper, or Holy Communion or Mass).
Main Services are on Sunday at 10am and Tuesday at 9.30am
With Communion in traditional language at 8.00 am every Sunday morning
Family Communion
St Francis likes the children and young people to join in all our worship. We have a Family Service on the 1st Sunday of every month. Just turn up for the 10am service, and join in.
(Safety note: Our parish operates a very comprehensive safeguarding policy for children and vulnerable adults. All our volunteers and staff are properly checked through the criminal records bureau, and regular training is offered through the Diocese of Portsmouth.)
